The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 5,500 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 9 years to get that many views.

I am now blogging over at The Cocooners. Go forth and read about what I’ve been up to since the wedding.

What could be worth the wait? Music.
Here is my playlist from the reception. I had an ipod “D-J”. He did a good job. He was hooked up to the docking station and media center at the suite (Mandalay Bay Vista Suite) and the sound was fabulous.

I have totally neglected this blog and I feel so guilty. I loved blogging about my wedding and now…I love being married but how do I write about that all the time. I guess what I will try to do is continue to add more photos and helpful hints about wedding planning every once in a while.
Thanx to everyone for their dear comments. I really appreciate it!

Gasp! I did not have anything old, I think pretty much everything for the wedding was new but I had nothing borrowed and absolutely nothing blue. I meant to get to all that stuff but really I just forgot. Why is this tradition so important for weddings? I wonder if brides who were really planning on partaking in this but forgot something actually freak out? I certainly did not.
Who cares of I did not have something blue? I got a husband and I’m thrilled with that gift.

We had a very intimate reception in the Vista Suite of Mandalay Bay. It turned out wonderfully. Here I want to highlight the food. We went with Cravings Catering at the recommendation of my Wedding Coordinator. I am so glad we did. They were wonderful. I booked them 2 weeks before my wedding and they were so accommodating and helpful. Gotta love Vegas.
I chose Mary with Chocolate Swan to make our cake. She was great. We dropped by unexpectedly to do a tasting the day before our wedding (I wanted some semblance of standard planning normalcy) and she gave us a sample of the Devil’s food with Chocolate Buttercream frosting. I was in heaven. It was so delicious. I knew my cake would be even better because the flavor of the regular buttercream would really bring out the flavor of the chocolate cake. Chocolate Swan was very quaint and cute. The desserts all looked amaze-a-zing!
Our cake was small but it packed a punch. It was the best wedding cake I have ever eaten and I’m not just saying that.

I forgot to post about so many things. First, my wedding ring – which I love, love, love, love (sorry, that was borderline obnoxious).
It’s a black diamond band from Ice.com. It really looks great with my ring. Here is a pro shot from the wedding:
I had a time trying to get a band to match my not really an engagement ring, engagement ring. This one works well and I bet no one else out there has this particular combination for their wedding rings. I love being different.
I was raking through some of my old Fountain of Fashion blog archives and found this post from Jan. 2006, The Little Death. I forgot that I loved black diamonds so much.
By the way, I no longer post on that blog. If you are interested, go to CCStyle for my (fashion) blog. More OML pics on the way…
