We had a very intimate reception in the Vista Suite of Mandalay Bay. It turned out wonderfully. Here I want to highlight the food. We went with Cravings Catering at the recommendation of my Wedding Coordinator. I am so glad we did. They were wonderful. I booked them 2 weeks before my wedding and they were so accommodating and helpful. Gotta love Vegas.
I chose Mary with Chocolate Swan to make our cake. She was great. We dropped by unexpectedly to do a tasting the day before our wedding (I wanted some semblance of standard planning normalcy) and she gave us a sample of the Devil’s food with Chocolate Buttercream frosting. I was in heaven. It was so delicious. I knew my cake would be even better because the flavor of the regular buttercream would really bring out the flavor of the chocolate cake. Chocolate Swan was very quaint and cute. The desserts all looked amaze-a-zing!
Our cake was small but it packed a punch. It was the best wedding cake I have ever eaten and I’m not just saying that.
